Kresek Monument is a historical monument that is a relic and as a witness to the Madiun incident. This historical heritage site with an area of ​​2 hectares is located 8 km to the east of the city of Madiun, precisely located in Kresek Village, Wungu District, Madiun Regency, East Java. and consists of historical monuments and reliefs about the ferocity of the PKI in 1948 in Madiun. The tourist facilities in this place, including the pavilion, a place to rest, a rare garden and a parking area. This monument was inaugurated on June 10, 1991 by the Governor of East Java, Mr. Soelarso.

Near this monument there is also a stone inscription that carves the names of TNI and pamong desa soldiers who died in the battle against the PKI in Kresek Village and because they were massacred by the PKI. Colonel Inf Marhadi is the highest ranking TNI soldier who died in the battle of Kresek Village, his name was later enshrined as one of the street names in the city of Madiun and his statue was also erected in the town square of Madiun as a form of respect. According to local residents, the Kresek Monument area was formerly a house of residents who were made PKI as a place of massacre, local residents were confined inside the house and the house was burned with residents inside. To the north of the Kresek Monument there is a small monument made of stone that carves the names of TNI soldiers and village officials who were slaughtered by the PKI
